 Cathy Love Dr Cathy Love (Chair) - Class C nominee

Cathy Love is currently working as a GP Obstetrician in communities across South Australia. Cathy is a former RVTS registrar and now supervises two RVTS registrars in the Northern Territory. She has worked as a District Medical Officer in the Northern Territory for over a decade and continues in this role on a casual basis, servicing communities out of Alice Springs. Cathy has also worked with humanitarian agencies in numerous developing countries and has an ongoing interest and involvement in Uganda. She has also served on the Board of the Central Australian Division of Primary Healthcare and had two terms as RVTS Chair.

Christian Rowan

Dr Christian Rowan (Deputy Chair) - ACRRM nominee

Christian Rowan is Executive Director of Medical Services at St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital in Brisbane. He is also a Visiting Medical Practitioner at the Wesley Hospital in Brisbane and holds an academic appointment as an Associate Professor with Griffith University's School of Medicine. He was the 2006-2007 President of the Rural Doctors Association of Queensland (RDAQ). Christian is a graduate of the University of Queensland (MBBS) and is a former Queensland Health Rural Scholarship Holder and PRVTS registrar.

Kathryn Kirkpatrick Dr Kathryn Kirkpatrick - RACGP nominee

Kathryn Kirkpatrick is a GP in Dalby, Queensland and is a graduate of Queensland University. Kathryn is Chair of the RACGP National Rural Faculty, a RACGP Councillor and is committed to rural training as a part-time Medical Educator and Rural Advisor for Central and Southern Queensland Training Consortium and a GP trainer. She is National Rural Faculty representative on the National Rural Health Alliance and is a member of the RACGP Queensland Faculty Board Executive.

Amyan Shenouda

Dr Ayman Shenouda - RACGP nominee
MBBS FRACGP Dip. Dermatology (UK)

Ayman Shenouda is an International Medical Graduate with a passion for general practice, medical education and supporting IMGs. In 2009 he was awarded RACGP General Practitioner of Year and is currently on the RACGP Faculty Board (NSW) and is Deputy Chair of the RACGP National Rural Faculty. He currently practices in Wagga Wagga and The Rock, NSW. The state-of-the-art practice he founded with his wife was awarded RACGP General Practice of the Year (NSW/ACT) in 2007, plus numerous other awards since. Ayman is the former Director of Medical Education at CCCT Riverina/Murrumbidgee and former Director of the Riverina Division of General Practice and Primary Health.

Aniello Iannuzzi

Dr Aniello Iannuzzi - ACRRM nominee
BA MBBS MMedSci FACRRM FRACGP

Aniello Iannuzzi is a rural doctor in private practice at the Warrumbungle Medical Centre, Coonabarabran, and also a VMO at the Coonabarabran District Hospital and Cessnock District Hospital. Aniello sits on the NSW GP Council and the Editorial Advisory Panel for Australian Prescriber Journal. From 1998 to 2010, he was an AMA (NSW) Branch Councillor. Aniello has also served on the federal AMA Council of General Practice and the NSW Medical Services Committee. Aniello is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer with the Department of General Practice at the University of Sydney. He is a supervisor and examiner for both RACGP and ACRRM.

Rick Newton

Dr Rick Newton - Class C nominee
B.Sc MBBS MPH Dip.Ed

Rick Newton has been a solo GP in the central NSW town of Tullamore since 1998. This followed five years as a teacher, ten years as an urban GP and three years as a medical adviser with the Health Insurance Commission (including a stint as Acting Medical Director). He is currently the Visiting Medical Officer at the Tullamore Hospital (Multipurpose Service). Rick has supervised three IMG general practitioners and he currently supervises an RVTS registrar. He is currently the Chair of the NSW Rural Doctors Network, a Director of Rural Workforce Australia, and a Director of his local Division of General Practice.
