 Cathy Love  Dr Cathy Love (Chair) - Class C nominee

Dr Cathy Love is a former RVTS registrar who is now a supervisor in the program.  Cathy is currently completing a year of up-skilling in procedural obstetrics at the Adelaide Women and Children's Hospital.  Cathy has worked the previous 10 years in the Northern Territory working as a district medical officer serving numerous remote communities in a broad spectrum of care from primary, to emergency to obstetrics.  She has also worked in numerous countries in the developing world with humanitarian agencies and has a special ongoing interest and involvement in Uganda.  She has also served on the board of the Central Australian Division of Primary Healthcare.

 Tom Doolan Dr Tom Doolan (Deputy Chair) - ACRRM nominee
MBBS FACRRM FRACGP

Dr Tom Doolan has worked continuously in rural practice for 28 years in Kilcoy, Queensland where he also provides obstetric and emergency medicine services.  Tom was a foundation member of the (P)RVTS Program Governance Group.  He chaired the RDAA taskforce for the establishment of ACRRM, is a foundation and continuing director of ACRRM and is ACRRM's honorary director of education.  He was editor and co-author of the ACRRM primary curriculum.  Tom recently retired from the board of GPET where he was a foundation director.  His major interests outside of medicine are his family and his vineyard and winemaking.

 Cameron Loy

Cameron Loy is a part time General Practitioner at Lara near Geelong in Victoria and at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, Women's Prison. He is a Supervisor at his practice. He holds an honorary academic position at the Greater Green Triangle University Department of Rural Health in Western Victoria and is on the Board of Management of the Australian Journal of Rural Health. Cameron is an RACGP examiner and Quality Assurance examiner, a board member of the Victorian Faculty of the RACGP and Chair of the New Fellows Committee in that state. He is the Vice Chair of the National Rural Faculty of the RACGP. In addition, Cameron is a trustee on a philanthropic research trust, the Shepherd Foundation supporting early career research in General Practice prevention and occupational medicine.

 Rod Martin

Dr Rod Martin - Class C nominee

Dr Rod Martin is currently an RVTS Registrar in Armidale, NSW undertaking procedural training in Anaesthetics and Obstetrics. This follows 3 years in Theodore, Queensland as an RVTS registrar with private practice and hospital responsibilities. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in Rural Medicine at the University of New England. A Board member since commencement of the company, Rod was also a member of the Program Governance Group in the preceding couple of years.  Rod is also a member of a number of ACRRM and GPET committees relating to recruitment, retention and education. 

 Chris Mitchell

Christopher Mitchell is Vice President of the RACGP and immediate past Chair of the National Rural Faculty. Christopher is the current RACGP President elect. He has been in rural general practice for 18 years at Lennox Head in Northern New South Wales with an appointment at Ballina District Hospital where he is a past chair of the Medical Staff Council. He is a general practice supervisor and examiner. He is chair of North Coast General Practice Training; and has been a member of the Health Services Advisory Committee of the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission; and represented the RACGP as a board member of the NSW rural workforce agency, the Rural Doctors Network.

 Christian Rowan

Dr Christian Rowan - ACRRM nominee

Christian Rowan is the Deputy Director of Medical Services at the Wesley Hospital in Brisbane and is a Visiting Medical Officer with Queensland Health. He also holds an academic appointment as an Associate Professor with Griffith University's School of Medicine. He was the 2006-2007 President of the Rural Doctors Association of Queensland (RDAQ).

Christian is a graduate of the University of Queensland (MBBS) and is a former Queensland Health Rural Scholarship Holder and PRVTS registrar.
