Applications are now open for doctors wishing to commence training with RVTS in February 2009.
The following criteria will apply to entry into the program:
- Medical registration in an Australian state or territory
- Australian Citizenship or permanent residency status
- Trainees must work and reside in a rural/remote community
Doctors meeting the above criteria or who anticipate that they will by the commencement of the training year in February 2009 are encouraged to apply.
Applications close on 31 October 2008.
Selection is competitive and involves written application and interview against set criteria. Fifteen places are available for the 2009 intake.
