gpStart is delivered over 12 months in the first year of RVTS training. The program covers a series of common GP presentations with background readings and GP based activities to support learning more about common GP presentations. The program is supported by fortnightly teletutorials as well as the written material provided in the folder provided to each RVTS registrar and supervisor. gpStart is available online at http://www.rvts.gpstart.com.au/. Contact the RVTS office for a username and password.

The RACGP Library has a vast collection of general practice oriented material available for loan anywhere in Australia. It also operates a reference journal service (free to all RACGP members).
