Dr Ross Wilson OAM

Dr Ross Wilson graduated from the University of Sydney and undertook postgraduate training in both Australia and the United Kingdom.

He has enjoyed nearly four decades working as a rural General Practitioner with a clinical practice that incorporates procedural anaesthetics and obstetrics, in many locations both within NSW, and also further afield in remote outback Australia. His other professional activities include Member and past Chair of the RACGP Rural Education Committee, past Member of the Joint Consultative Committee on Obstetrics and is Rural Director and Senior Lecturer with the University of Sydney and University of Western Sydney. Outside of medicine, he maintains a strong interest in farming successfully breeding Suffolk and Southdown sheep. Ross was first appointed to the RVTS Board in 2018.
