RVTS is a vocational training program for medical practitioners in remote and isolated communities throughout rural and remote Australia.
Clinical Teaching Visits provide an opportunity to observe registrars working in their practices.
These visits are particularly important for RVTS registrars working in solo or isolated practices who cannot access feedback from practice colleagues.

- Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a General Practitioner, including preferably at least two (2) years of post-fellowship practice in Australia
- Hold current, unconditional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Maintain current medical indemnity insurance
- Be recognised by peers as an excellent clinician, supported by a verbal recommendation from a known peer or medical educator
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in medical education, evidenced through relevant experience listed in their CV or confirmed by a professional referee
