Dr Ian Kamerman was appointed to the Board on 24 September 2025.

Dr Ian Kamerman is a GP and practice owner in Tamworth NSW and has been an RVTS Supervisor for ten years. He has a lengthy history of rural practice, training and medical leadership. He is currently a Federal Councillor of the AMA and is the Chair of their Council of Rural Doctors, NSW representative to the Rural Faculty of the RACGP and on the NSW/ACT Faculty, and secretary of the RDA (NSW). Previously he has held positions as the Chair of GP Synergy and NEATS (GP training organisations), President of the RDAA and RDA (NSW), Chair of GPSA and has been a Director of ACRRM. Ian is currently employed by the RACGP as an SLO for FSP.
